Gun Control & Public Safety.

Gun Control.
Intelligent people have difficulty in understanding Australia’s firearms laws. Such as why do 17th & 18th century pistols require an “H” class restricted licence for ownership & use? This is the same licence requirement for say a 9mm semi-automatic Glock handgun, there is a vast difference between a flintlock pistol & a breach-loading semi-auto pistol! Then there is the self defence issue, if you experience a home invasion & you & your family are at risk of harm or death, then you will just have to die, because it is illegal to use your gun to defend yourself! One would have thought this was a human right, but no, not in Australia it isn’t!

Why is it that the gun is to blame when people, criminals, commit a firearms offence? Just for argument’s sake let’s assume there is a spate of killings where the tool used is a wood golf club. Now if the government suddenly decided to confiscate all wood golf clubs, golfers would be up in arms, “why blame us for what someone else does with a wood golf club” they would say, “it is the killer you should blame, blaming a wood golf club is ridiculous”! And of course they would be right (I wonder how many members of “Gun Control Australia play golf?), blaming an inanimate object would be a downright stupid thing to do, & yet that is exactly what the government has done in regards to guns. The argument we often get thrown at us by people with no understanding is “why do you need a gun? People don’t need guns! Well if shooters & hunters don’t need guns, then golfers don’t need golf clubs! The fact is that we like our guns; we enjoy having our guns, just like golfers enjoy having & using their golf clubs.
In the Port Arthur shootings (there never was a coronial enquiry, all swept under the carpet!), they say the gun used was an assault rifle, an AR15 caliber .308. The Australian government used this shooting as an excuse to confiscate the guns belonging to law abiding citizens. What guns did they confiscate? Well AR15s had been banned a long time ago; in fact the AR15 used in the Port Arthur shootings allegedly belonged to the Tasmanian Police Department!!! The guns they confiscated were semi-automatic .22 bunny rifles, semi-auto & pump action shotguns!!! These guns were favoured by Australian farmers; farmers needed these guns in their work to dispatch sick livestock & to control feral animals. Controlling feral animals is seen as being one of the important duties of all land owners.
Now we used to be able to carry what was known as a snake gun, this was usually a cut down .410 shotgun to handgun size for protection against snakes. These were banned many years ago. Land owners used to be able to carry handguns for protection against wild boars & stroppy bulls as well as being used for feral animal control. You can still work without any impediment from carrying a hand gun on your belt, but you can’t work affectively with a long gun hanging off your shoulder! Now handguns have also been banned! There was no justification for banning & confiscating these guns, other than to say it was in the interest of public safety! Public safety? These people & these guns played no part in the Port Arthur shootings, & these same law abiding licensed gun owners were not & are not criminals! Practically every day vehicle owners are responsible for killing & injuring pedestrians & other road users, & yet no one blames the car, & the government has done nothing to make our roads & paths safer for the public! Gun owners have to pass a written safety exam & a physical test. All vehicle owners have to do is learn the road rules & pass a driver’s test. There is no safety training to obtain a driver’s licence!!!
Where am I going? Where is this taking us? Well no where good I guess, because unless law abiding gun owners back each other; and by this I mean we all support each other (yes even supporting the muzzle-loader community!!!), then we are without a doubt going to end up being disarmed! The very fact that; Possessing any object specifically for the purpose of self-defence, lethal or non-lethal, is a criminal offence in Australia is a sure sign that our government has no regard for “public safety” so using that as an excuse to confiscate our guns is absolute bullshit, & if that is not the reason for confiscating our firearms, then you have to ask yourself “what is the reason?”.

Thoughts For The Week. Gun Control!

Well the Port Arthur Massacre certainly worked, & it is the belief of many, including some high ranking qualified people, that the massacre was orchestrated with government knowledge, & Martin Bryant has been falsely accused & imprisoned without any evidence of his guilt & without a coronal enquirie. The word is Bryant has been held in solitary confinement all this time to stop him talking to anyone. Certainly no news has been forthcoming from ex prisoners or the press!
For those that don't WANT to believe this, ask yourself this question: If the powers that be want the rest of our guns, when & where will the next shooting be?

Thoughts For the Week.
Another Symptom.
This week we had another pin prick that shows the contempt that the tyranny has for the 2 million plus law abiding licenced firearm owners in Australia. Page 132 ACIC Annual Report
https://acic.govcms.gov.au/sites/g/files/net1491/f/acic_2016-17_annual_report.pdf?v=1508387578
The Queensland Weapons Licencing Branch informed us that from now on they are not going to answer the telephone on Wednesdays. That seem innocuous, harmless, non offensive, it does not bother you until you turn up at your local Gun shop after driving for 5 hours to find out that Weapons Licencing have made a simple mistake on your Permit to Aquire, you need to get it altered Weapons Licencing are the only ones that can change it so you want to phone them. Sorry, it’s a Wednesday and they do not answer their phone to the likes of us poor peasants on Wednesday. Of course, if it was another policeman phoning they would have no trouble, nor would the police minister. They are not available even on Mondays Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after 4 pm. Try an Urgent Email and you will get an immediate response stating that Weapons Licencing will respond within 28 days.
At that point the law abiding citizen recalls that he has waited already for 5 months to get his licence and another 3 months to get his PTA and had to make copious (if not 50) phone calls, just to be told by a robot, If this call is related to an application please do not call for the 12 weeks as we are busy. So then he, or she grits their teeth swears that they will never vote for a major party ever again and prepares to drive, back to their home in Quilpe. What puts even more anger in their hearts is when they realise that by the legislation,
Weapons Regulation 2016
101 Waiting period for decision on application for permit to acquire
(1)This section prescribes the period for section 42 of the Act .
(2)The period is 28 days after the day the applicant lodged the application for the permit to acquire the weapon.
(3)However, the period is the remainder of the day on which the applicant lodged the applicationfor the permit, if—
(a)the applicant already holds a firearm under a licence; or
(b)an authorised officer is satisfied there are exceptional circumstances
If we mere slaves of the system did not comply with this legislation we would be charged and prosecuted, if we were just one day late with a renewal we lose our licence, we lose our property, yet they the police are responsible to no one. They can take as long as they like.
Now please don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that every policeman is evil, or that they are all soley responsible for all of this. That is not true. They believe that they are doing their job, following orders. I too for many years worked for the Government in the Army and in Prison Institutions I too followed orders. Like doctors and nurses we isolate our consciences, with a large plate of the “The End Justifies the Means”, but at the Nuernberg Trials the Judges correctly found that if you know (mens rea, latin) what your doing is wrong, it is a crime. On that basis German soldiers were sentenced to death for using that same excuse. There is also a certain amount of elitism, an ‘us’ and ‘them’culture within the politicians who are much more responsible for these chains to our freedom. They do not mind disarming the people who they represent and using firearms to force that disarmament, whats more they see there security far more important then ours and ensure that their lives and families are well guarded with firearms.

Why Do They Want the Guns of the Law Abiding, When they Know they Cannot Take Them from Criminals?
Once we leave the ‘pit face’ of law abiding firearm owners struggling with bureaucracy and ask the questions of why are they doing all of this to us, we see it as totally illogical. Firearm disarmament is not the only issue, but it is our enemies first goal, then they move on discrimination, removed the freedom of speech, forced immigration, destruction of our culture, destruction of the family unit, dumb down the education system, propaganda in schools and university’s, Nationalism, being proud of our country, exporting our jobs, green socialism rammed down our necks The simple fact is that normal, responsible, honest people in the country are absolutely fed up with being ignored while simultaneously being taxed into oblivion. You could choose any one of a hundred issues and the central argument would still be valid. Good people are being repeatedly penalized by a government that refuses to deal with real issues, our issues instead they create more of them.
We’re overtaxed, we pay too much for electicity, we are over regulated, we are under represented, we’re disregarded. Our words are ignored and only the bimbos and bimb ets on the 6 o clock news are believed. We need some one to stand up for the majority? As we are the majority. “The law-abiding citizens of this community, of other communities we are the first ones taxed, the first ones to be prosecuted and the last ones to be considered. We need a leader to listen to the majority of the people, and even if the full majority have no inclination of own a firearm, they are affected by all these hundreds of other issues and have no wish to disarm the other half of the majority. The majority of the people are like us law-abiding, and they follow the law. They too want their constitutional rights to be free.
They know as well as us that the criminals are going to hold on to their guns. Criminals will always have the money to buy guns. They know that armed criminals will still break into their houses and shoot them, they know that the Politicians have the Police and the Army to protect themselves and out their bidding, but they are not going to protect the majority of law abiding citizens, they no their best defence is their neighbour who has a gun. We all want to be that good neighbour.
Think?
What are We? Who Are We? Are We Free People?
Do We live in FREEDOM?
For those who have Forgotten.
The definition is: The quality, or state of being free: with the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice, or action. Free from restraint or from the power of another person or government. The Free right of independent thought and action. Having the freedom of being exempt or release from some onerous tyranny. The freedom to defend their lives and the lives of their families Freedom of movement. Freedom to own and use their own property, and the freedom to defend that property. The Freedom of Speech and Free thought. Freedom, a political right to take part in the decision making of their nation.
Or Are we SUBJUGATED?
Defined as already a defeated nation under control of (someone or something) restrained by the use of force, suppressed, under the obedience of a group of people, people that are under the influence or controlled by people in other countries.
Are we Australians FREE or SUBJUGATED?
Before we go into the next War? Who are we fighting for? It might be worth while, if we had FREEDOM to fight For but when we Join the Military Forces, or are conscripted we are not FREE, once Australia is at War we are all under Martial Law. Freedom is then not even a Glimmer of Light from a Black Hole.
Are we going to War putting ourselves and our families under jeopardy, losing even more freedoms more rights just to fight for the One World Government, the Trialatralists, or the Bilderbergers, or who ever George Soros is working for. To return to our past freedoms we have to appreciate who is the real enemy?
Where is this slavery of nations all coming from?
Our political Lib, Nat, Labs and Greens are ‘all soldiers of the working day’ for the internationalist who have been grabbing power since World War Two, basically un checked, accept for the Brexit and Trump failures. They are the masters who decide which political parties get the big election donations and the golden light from mainstreams media. Our Constitutional rights and freedoms are an antipathy to them. Free people are surplus to their requirements.
“Never underestimate the power of a few committed people to change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Meade.
Throughout modern history, numerous politicians and members of this powerful elite have spoken out about their support for a one world government or a New World Order, which has been a name used for three centuries, but of course by different people. The New World Order is the supposed goal of a handful of global elitists who are pushing for a one world government and a heightened national security state. This group, often referred to as the Cabal, has been using foreign threats to heighten security, strip us of our rights, and invade other countries. These Bilderberger, Trialatralists are the same members of the elite class who control most governments, sometimes referred to as the “shadow government.” Numerous politicians have publicly discussed the people who secretly control the U.S. political system, creating laws and bending them.
John F. Hylan, former Mayor of New York City, explained:
“The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation . . . The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties . . . [and] control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen [and] seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”
Canadian economist Dr. Michel Chossudovsky, who is the University of Ottawa’s Emeritus Professor of Economics, also gave a great speech at the International Conference on the New World Order. Who is this group of elites? Well, Dr. Chossudovsky believes it originates with those who control the U.S., Israel, and other western allies.

Who is controlling these countries and this massive global agenda?
The shadow government includes billionaire families like the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, members of the financial elite like George Soros, and large corporations and big banks. The following video from THRIVE Movement, a documentary created by the heir to Proctor & Gamble, Foster Gamble, perfectly explains how this system works:
Other countries are publicly recognizing the role the elite plays in the U.S. government. For example, after Bill Clinton accused Poland and Hungary of turning into a “Putin-like” and “authoritarian dictatorship” last year, their governments saw right through it.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán responded by saying, “The remarks made about Hungary and Poland … have a political dimension. These are not accidental slips of the tongue. And these slips or remarks have been multiplying since we are living in the era of the migrant crisis. And we all know that behind the leaders of the Democratic Party, we have to see George Soros.”He went on to say that “the mouth is Clinton’s but the voice is of George Soros.” https://www.westmonster.com/soros-gives-another-400k-to-anti-brexit-group/
As we have covered in previous issues George Soros seems to be the conduit that channels the money to places of maximum advantage to the group, George has personal wealth and assets of over a 25 Billion but the recent payment of 18 Billion to the Open Society Foundation, (which funds Get Up, Gun Control Australia, and the Greens) is derived from other elitists with more money than George.

David Rockefeller deceased now but his foundations still live on was one of the largest contributors for the implementation of a one world power. In a rare transcript smuggled out from a 1991 Bilderberg group meeting in Baden, Germany, we can realise how deluded Rockefeller’s views truly were. Bill Clinton also attended this meeting with many other members of the elite class.
David Rockefeller stated:
“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government. . . . The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practised in past centuries. (source)”
Security for the Bilderberg meeting to keep the riff raff out. As the World Government is inside.
This quote is extremely revealing, as it proves that not only has he been striving to create a one world government since well before 1991, but mainstream media (MSM) news outlets were aware of it and chose not to disclose this information to the public. It’s disturbing that MSM turned a blind eye to this; however, it’s not really surprising given the fact that the elite people attending these Bilderberg meetings are the very people who fund and control these corporations.
Dangerous Times Ahead.
If we cannot use the internet, like that old saying, “In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king”, be under no illusions the good people of the western world will be defeated by our own democracy. Our opponents do not need logic, or rights, or good intentions to change our society, all they need is control of mainstream media, that produces their votes and as we continue to slip into a nation of mindless controlled zombies, (not in the context of the resurrection of the dead) lifeless, apathetic, completely unresponsive to their surroundings, the blind will become blinder and reality will become even more ‘unbelievable’. This is the most dangerous threat to our way of living since Hitler was planning his conquest of the world.
There is no Spring without Winter, without Mistakes there is no Learning. There is no Life without Death, without Doubts there is no Faith. There is no Peace without War, without Fear there is no Courage. For without Mistakes, Doubts and Fears there are no pathways to Wisdom.

David Hogg NOT in school day of shooting?

These are the sort of people that spread lies & misinformation
for the anti-gun lobby. DO NOT believe all that the government tells you. Gun
confiscation will NOT stop gun crime. We NEED sensible gun laws, but we need to tackle social problems too if we are to combat gun crime & crime in general.

So where was Mr Hogg at the time of the shooting? Who was the second shooter that has not been identified? Was Hogg the second shooter? Who orchestrated this shooting? Was the anti-gun lobby involved? Was the government involved?

Just like the Port Arthur shootings here in Australia, there are a lot of questions unanswered!!!

Gun Control & Anti-Self Defence Laws in Australia. Why?

Gun Control & Anti-Self Defence Laws in Australia. Why?

I have a lot of things going through my mind right now, so please excuse me if this post seems a little staggered.
First of all I think we need to establish the fact that the Government does not give a damn about the welfare & safety of its citizens. This is important, because the safety of its citizens is the reason given for the government’s gun control measures & its self defence legislation.

Fact: In Australia women are being attacked, assaulted or killed every 2 minutes.
Fact: The Australian government has cut funding to women’s help centers & some of these centers have had to close completely.
Fact: It is illegal in Australia to purchase, carry or use ANYTHING for the sole purpose of self defence or the defence of one’s family. No guns, no pepper sprays, no tasers, no attacker marker paint sprays.
Fact: If you do defend yourself or your family you could be charged with an offence. Recently a farmer defending his family in a home invasion where the predator was armed with a knife & a wooden baton, the farmer used an unloaded rifle to scare & disarm the attacker. The farmer was charged with firearms offences & both he & his wife had their gun licenses suspended & their guns confiscation.
Fact: Home invasions, assaults, attacks, rapes, murder & stabbings appear to be on the increase. Almost every day now there are reports of one or the other.
Fact: If at least some of these people who were attacked had been carrying some form of device that enabled them to defend themselves, then they would have survived & the attacker/s would have been stopped & possibly arrested.
Fact: On more than one occasion in Terrorist attacks in Australia the police were ordered not to kill or arrest the Terrorist when they were able to do so. This allowed the Terrorist to proceed & ended in the death of innocent citizens.
Fact: There was NO coronal enquiry into the Port Arthur massacre in Tasmania which was used by the government to order a confiscation of certain commonly used guns from law abiding citizens. There is no proof  that Martin Bryant was in fact the shooter. There is no proof that if Bryant was the shooter that he acted alone. There is no proof that the government did not orchestrate this massacre just so they could implement the confiscation of law abiding licensed citizen’s guns. There IS proof that the alleged rifle used in these shootings was in fact in police hands before the shootings. This rifle had previously been handed in to the police. So if Bryant was the shooter, who gave him this rifle?

So let’s look at this objectively & sensibly so we can better try & understand what is going on here. What is likely to happen if citizens were allowed to carry & use certain items for defence? Well firstly there would be less innocent people getting robbed, assaulted, raped & murdered. On the other hand we could expect there to be some innocent people injured or even possibly killed due to some nervous people “jumping the gun”, defending themselves when in fact the would be attacker was in fact an innocent person. I think personally that this would still involve less deaths than if we were not allowed to defend ourselves, AND people would NEED to gain a better understanding of the new laws involving self defence. People would need to approach other people with caution & understand the possible danger. IF a person were to “jump the gun” on an innocent person, then it is perfectly reasonable for that person to have their rights to carrying such a protective device revoked.
I think it very reasonable to expect that the cases of home invasions would decrease considerably. Right now criminals know that the majority of Australian homes are in fact defenseless. We are not allowed legally to use guns, pepper sprays, tasers, or anything else expressly for the purpose of defending our families or our homes. If we do decide to defend ourselves or our families then we are not allowed to use excessive force. How can anyone possibly be expected to judge what is excessive force?! Is the government saying that if you are threatened by an intruder with a knife, then you too must arm yourself with a knife & get into a knife fight?! If the intruder is unarmed but bigger & stronger than you are must you defend yourself with your bare hands?! Do you think this sounds reasonable?
I think the solution here lies in education & training. If we were allowed to carry guns on the streets or keep guns at home for defence, then there should be training & education involved in the process of evaluation for ownership & approval.
So, if the government’s purpose is not for the safety & the welfare of the common people, what is their reason/agenda? Could it be simply to gain votes from the anti-gun lobby? Could it be that they simply don’t know what to do to placate the anti-gun lobby & so do the only thing they THINK they can do? Or is there a more sinister reason for wanting to disarm the Australian populace? Then again why the hard stance on self defence? Why would they actually penalize innocent citizens for trying to defend themselves & their families?

Well I think we have thought this through objectively, have we founds any  answers to this problem? For me it comes down to my rights, my right to own anything & want to providing it does no harm to anyone else. My right to defend myself & my family in any reasonable situation, eg you do not shoot a trespasser just because they are on your property, but if you consider they are endangering your life or the lives of your family, then you should have the right to use any means available to you to keep yourself & your family safe from harm.
Firearms Security.
Obviously if you are going to keep a firearm available for defence in your home, then you cannot afford to keep it locked in a gun safe. But this does not mean that it cannot be secured. A trigger lock & even a tether should be acceptable. These precautions would allow one to use the gun for defence in a reasonable short time without allowing the gun to be used against the owner or even stolen. When you are not at home, then the gun should be secured in a gun safe.
Carrying.
If members of the public had been carrying side arms, openly or concealed, then there is a good chance that the Port Arthur shooter & the Terrorist Man Haron Monis would have been shot before they were able to kill anyone. The deaths at the café were in fact the direct result of shots fired by the police, not Monis, & this only happened because the police sniper was told to stand down even though he had a clear killing shot of Monis!
Again, education & training are a priority when it comes to being approved for the carrying of a sidearm. I have not to date heard of any problems with open or concealed carry in America. So I don’t see why it would not work here.
Foolproof.
I don’t think any system can be made foolproof, there will always be idiots that will do the wrong thing, but there has to be a better system than what we have now. We simply cannot allow innocent citizens to be left defenseless because we fear there will be accidents or idiots doing the wrong thing. People are dying out there because they are legally unable to defend themselves, & this is NOT good enough!

More on Gun Control & the Recent Firearms Amnesty.

We are seeing the use of terms such as "Illegal", "Arsenals" "guns off the streets" & other sensationalising terms. So who made these guns illegal in the first place? Our government. Some guns being handed in now date back to WW2. All these thousands of "Illegal Guns" have supposedly been "on our streets" since WW2 & we only had one mass shooting which was in Tasmania!!! Don't you think this sounds a little odd?

Now we are hearing about private "arsenals", not collections or ownership but arsenals. Well if these private "arsenals" are such a risk, considered so dangerous, how come we have not had mass shootings like they have had in America? The confiscation of law abiding gun owner's guns after the Port Arthur shooting did nothing to stop crime, because these guns BELONGED to law abiding gun owners. But now you might as well put a poster out front of every Australian home declaring "This House Not Protected With Firearms"!!! Now we are seeing regular home invasions, AND you can face charges if you try to defend yourself or your family. Australian women are attacked & assaulted every 2 minutes in Australia & all the government did was to cut funding to women's help centers!!!

Surely we should have the right to defend ourselves & our families from harm? Yet in Australia it is illegal to purchase or carry ANYTHING for use in self defence, no guns, no pepper sprays, no tasers, not even marking paint!

Farmers used to be able to carry hand guns whilst they went about their daily work. Some carried snake guns which were cut down .410 shotguns for protection against snakes. Not any more. These were law abiding people who were suddenly classed as criminals because the government deemed it so! Shotguns, the farmer's stock in trade along with the little .22 rimfire rifle is now under attack by the Greens & the anti-gun lobby. Semi-auto .22s have already been banned, & now they want our shotguns as well!!!

As I see it it is no good us complaining & protesting against more gun control & the loss of our human rights. We need to put an end to this. Our government is supposed to be looking after our well being, that means ALL OF US. Not just big companies, not just the wealthy, but ALL OF US. This is no longer happening. Whether it be the environment, our safety, our freedoms, our human rights, our well being, or the right to choose our own lifestyle, the right to defend ourselves, our families & our homes. All that is gone now.

I think Australians need to ask themselves where this is all going, is there no end to the government seemingly uncaring attitude. If we have lost the right to defend ourselves & our families without risk of prosecution, then what rights do we have left that matters? People are dieing out there! Do you think that this can't happen to you? If the preservation of our freedom & the right to defend ourselves is NOT the most important thing in our lives, what is?

Port Arthur: confirmation the official killing and wounding there was premeditated and professionally perpetrated.

Petition update
STEPHEN PARRY, Liberal Party TAS - KNEW!! about the pre-planning of PORT ARTHUR
Cherri Bonney
Western Australia, Australia
18 Feb 2016 — The documented fact that the now president of the Australian Senate - Stephen Parry, Liberal Party* TAS; see Wikipedia - has known about the pre-planning related to Port Arthur confirms the official killing and wounding there was premeditated and professionally perpetrated. It was a State psycho-terror operation undertaken to shock and enrage Australians to support gun-control legislation. And to cover up its role in this official massacre, the State set up the mentally handicapped (66IQ) and entirely innocent Martin Bryant making him the patsy. (* The Liberal Party of John Howard who supported NO trial for innocent Martin Bryant. That's right. The mongrel John Howard - another lawyer - who became Australia's worst prime minister.)

Good decent Australians have been investigating and speaking out about the official killing and wounding at Port Arthur for nearly 20 years - unlike the gutless mongrel barristers who work in Tasmania and who have done their best to ignore this evil incident. These barristers have turned their back on innocent Martin Bryant who has been wrongly incarcerated and tortured since April 1996. They have failed their moral and ethical responsibilities by denying Truth and Justice to all the families, relatives, and friends of the Port Arthur victims. It is sickening.
Please bring the documented words of this mongrel of a senator Stephen Parry (President of the Australian Senate) to the attention of the families, relatives, and friends of the Port Arthur victims. To the attention of the media - press, radio, TV. To the attention of your local and federal politicians including the senators. To the attention of your church. SPEAK OUT LOUDLY! Demand corrective action and don't accept any bullshit evasive reply letters telling you it is being looked into. Get poor innocent Martin Bryant out of Risdon Prison before they knock him - his days are numbered.

And please note the next Tasmanian barrister to be addressed will be Sandra Taglieri. It's time the public read what women have said in relation to the official massacre at Port Arthur, and learnt about what Ms. Taglieri - another gutless mongrel barrister and an officer of the Tasmanian Supreme Court - has NOT said about the worst injustice in modern-day Australia.

Sincerely,

Keith Allan Noble

Australian Government Fear Campaign. Where Is It Going?

The so called Port Arthur massacre led to the government making new gun laws, making certain types of guns illegal and they initiated a firearms buy-back scheme. Of course only law abiding Australian citizens complied and handed in their guns, the criminal element in Australia kept their guns.
The crime rate did not go down, and now only criminals can own illegal hand guns, rifles and shotguns. Yet still the anti gun lobby cry for more firearms restrictions. The recent incident in Martin Place in Sydney has created a further cry for legislation. Our not so honourable PM, Mr Tony Abbott made a statement that the assailant, Monis, did in fact own an Australian firearms permit. This is an outright lie, which is what we have come to expect from Mr Abbott.
But this incident in Martin Place has hairs on it, something does not quite make sense and a lot of people are suggesting that Monis was in fact encouraged to take hostages at the Lyndt caffe with the purpose of instigating more fear control and ultimately further firearms restrictions on law abiding Australian citizens.
I realise that I am probably preaching to the converted here, most sensible thinking people already realise that restricting firearms use to law abiding citizens is worthless in regards to curbing crime, and it is very costly to the Australian tax payer. Criminals DO NOT abide by the law, so confiscating law abiding citizen's guns is a no brainer ! We, the legal gun owners have special gun safes, bolted to the floor in our homes so that these firearms can not be stolen. How the police manage to lose so many firearms I can not say, and they are not telling !

Other worrying matters concerning firearms restrictions and terrorist fear campaigns is the fact that these are also measures taken by people who wish to take over a country as a dictator ! Now I can not say if our non illustrious Mr Abbott has such plans or if he is planing a take over in some other way, such as making Australia a republic. This would certainly further restrict our freedoms.

One major move that must be done before taking control of a populace, is the restricting of firearms. This has already been done here in Australia restricting law abiding citizens to only non semi-automatic guns, and no handguns what so ever unless you belong to a pistol club. Even flintlock muzzle-loading guns in Australia require a firearms licence, registration and a permit to purchase ! These guns are an 18th century design, requiring a piece of rock for ignition! How stupid and paranoid is that? Antique muzzle-loading firearms are not restricted, however you are not allowed to actually fire them. I might point out that there is absolutely no difference in the workings of copies of flintlocks and antiques of the same type.
We, the law abiding citizens of Australia sincerely hope that these terrorist fear campaigns instigated by Mr Abbott do not lead to further firearms restrictions, because I personally don't think the Australian gun owning community would stand for it again.
What we do need is higher penalties for firearms offences, and these MUST be enforced. At present, legal gun owners are being treated like criminals. Some Police officers conducting firearms checks in licensed homes are literally looking to find fault. Also many Police officers do not have the training or knowledge to be able to conduct a firearms check correctly, their knowledge of firearms and the firearms legislation is sadly lacking. In my own case this cost me much time and expense that should not have been necessary.
The so called firearms consultant committee does not and never has existed. This group of so called experts were never formed. So who has made these pointless and senseless decisions which only affect law abiding gun owners? And why? Firearms restrictions are not about public safety, they are not about curbing crime. There is enough evidence from other countries to show that this does not work anyway. Ignorant people feel safer knowing that some guns are restricted, so gun laws pacify, to some extent, the paranoid anti-gun groups and ignorant citizens. That is all it does.
So be on your guard, follow the rules and be a responsible gun owner.
Keith.
