What will happen if I ignore anthropogenic global warming & climate change?

What will happen if I ignore anthropogenic global warming & climate change?
Anthropogenic global warming & climate change are accelerating much faster than previously predicted, & the world is still burning fossil fuels. Scientists have predicted that global warming combined with the destruction of wildlife habitats is very likely going to cause more frequent & more sever Pandemics.
It is now too late to stop anthropogenic global warming, & with the continued burning of fossil fuels, it is highly likely that society could collapse within the next 50 years. If this happens, then we will experience teotwawki, & after that, possibly the beginning of our extinction period.
When society collapses, that will be the end of payed employment, the end of our national economy, for many, it will mean the end of life itself. In the cities there will be no food, no drinking water, no sewage, no electricity, & no security. Gangs will form; there will be a massive rise in crime with looting, home invasions, rape & murder. There is also likely to be cannibalism, as the only food will be human flesh.
Many people will obviously be trying to get out of the city, but unless they have the appropriate survival skills & the right sustainable equipment & tools, they are not likely to survive for very long in the bush.
Between now & when society collapses, life for many is going to change. People will die in heatwaves & other disasters & of course the further Pandemics that are coming from the destruction of wildlife habitats which will put us in closer contact with other species of animals.  I know very little about the national economy, but I assume this will collapse with further disasters & Pandemics.
Is there any chance we can avoid the extinction of the human race?
If a majority of people were to rise up before the end of 2020 & sack our present corrupt to the core government & introduce a new non corrupt governing system, then we could stop the burning of fossil fuels & the destruction of our native forests & this may allow us to avoid our extinction. But bear in mind this is a global problem, one country alone cannot have much of an impact on global warming, but as Australia exports more coal than any other country in the world, we could make a significant difference to our climate.
Our only other chance of survival is if the collapse of society comes soon. If this stops the burning of fossil fuels, then those who have prepared (preppers) may stand a chance of surviving. Frankly, given that Australians are in general very apathetic, & given that the majority of people living in the cities are not willing to change their environmentally damaging lifestyles, I can’t see a majority of people doing anything to try & save humanity.
What can we do?
If you can, move out of the city as soon as possible & live off grid. Start preparing for what is coming. I think as things start to get bad in the cities, climate change protests will turn violent. Hangers on will take advantage of the situation & start a wave of destruction & looting. Living off grid you will need to be able to protect your gardens, your homes & your families. To do this you will need firearms. Raiders will have firearms, so you will have no choice but to be armed yourselves. The alternative is just not worth thinking about!

Climate change 'hitting harder and sooner' than forecast, warn scientists ahead of UN meeting

A new report published ahead of key UN climate talks has warned the world is falling drastically behind in the race to avert climate disaster, with the five-year period ending in 2019 the hottest on record.
Key points:
The new report revealed that global temperatures between 2015-2019 were the hottest on record
It noted carbon emissions in the same period had risen by 20 per cent
Its authors also warned of the alarming extent of sea-level rise and melting glaciers
The data, compiled by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), says climate change is accelerating, with sea levels rising, carbon dioxide levels increasing and ice sheets melting faster than ever before.
It warned that carbon-cutting efforts have to be intensified immediately and comes ahead of a major UN climate summit in New York on Monday that will be attended by more than 60 world leaders, as secretary-general Antonio Guterres pushes for countries to increase their greenhouse gas reduction targets.
The report "highlights the urgent need for the development of concrete actions that halt global warming and the worst effects of climate change," said its authors, the Science Advisory Group to the summit.
Average global temperatures between 2015-2019 were on track to be the hottest of any five years on record, according to the report.
It highlighted that global temperatures have risen by 1.1 degrees Celsius since 1850, and have gone up 0.2C between 2011 and 2015.
And rather than falling, carbon dioxide grew 2 per cent in 2018, reaching a record high of 37 billion tonnes and locking in further warming.
According to the report, carbon emissions between 2015 and 2019 had grown by 20 per cent compared with the previous five years.
Other major takeaways include alarming new data on the extent of sea-level rise.
Sea levels have been rising by an average of 5 millimetres a year in the past five years, compared to 3.2mm a year on average since 1993, with much of the rise attributed to melting glaciers and ice sheets.

Scientists say intensifying heatwaves will soon make Australian cities ‘uninhabitable’

Climate scientists are warning that if these conditions persist, a number of Australia’s capitals will become uninhabitable in the very near future.
Heatwaves form when high pressure in the upper atmosphere stops air from rising and traps the heat, similarly to how a pressure cooker works. Extreme heatwaves wreak havoc on the environment and threaten power, traffic and water infrastructure.

Climate Change Emergency is Real. Our very lives depend on us acting NOW!!!

This was Wychwood Forest some years ago, now it is dying. There is no longer any green grass & the wildlife is suffering. The trees are literally dieing from the heat & the lack of rain. On top of this we are now threatened by catastrophic bushfires. All this is caused by human made climate change.

Long before the cattle industry, the world was populated with large numbers of ruminants, but the world seemed to have no issues with methane. American plains Africa and other continents had millions of buffalo, so how & when did the problem arise?
The world was a different place back then, large grassy plains managed by the indigenous peoples, huge wide spread forests, & healthy oceans. All these were producing oxygen & absorbing methane/Co2.
Then came the industrial revolution & the invasion of America & Australia. The industrial revolution marks the time steam engines were invented & coal was being burnt for energy. The invasions killed off many of the indigenous peoples & changed their lifestyles for ever. The grassy plains were no longer being managed to produce more green grass for the wildlife, now it was overrun by cattle & sheep. The forests were being logged for timber & destroyed & cleared to make more land for settlement & farming. The oceans lasted a little longer, but eventually humans also managed to pollute & contaminate with radio active waste, oil spills, garbage disposal, & single use plastics.
The herds of herbivores were mostly killed off & replaced with cattle & sheep in far greater numbers. The world was/is no longer green & the carbon dioxide levels rose & the oxygen levels in the oceans reduced. Now we have human made climate change, which is further destroying our forests through creating catastrophic conditions for bushfires. We have the internal combustion engine churning out Co2 into the atmosphere. We have coal burning electricity plants churning out more Co2 into our atmosphere. The planet is warming which is melting the ice & the permafrost. Melting ice has created black water which absorbs more heat. Melting permafrost is releasing more carbon into the atmosphere & releasing long buried pathogens & viruses.
Our world can no long keep up with the massive production of Co2 from livestock & other sources. The planet will survive when most, if not all humans have died due to climate change.
Keith.
The world's people, the Australian people, need to act now. If they do not take control of this human made climate change situation, then we may all quite possibly die in a mass extinction event!!! This is NOT paranoia, this is NOT sensationalising, this is NOT bullshit! This is REAL! If the people wait for someone else to fix this, they are going to find themselves trying to survive TEOTWAWKI, & after that possibly a mass extinction!
I have done all I can through popular media channels to warn the population about climate change global warming, apart from preparing my own home in the forest off grid to help my children & grandchildren survive, there is nothing else that I can do. You NEED to take control of your lives, you NEED to take control of climate change by stopping the burning of fossil fuels, & by stopping the logging & destruction of our native forests & woodlands. Your future & your children's future depends on it!!!

Don’t Blame the Scientists, Blame the People!!! Climate Change.

Don’t Blame the Scientists, Blame the People!!!
I have lost count of the number of times climate change deniers have quoted past predictions saying that they never came true so climate change is bullshit. Scientists are not super human, they do the best they can with what they have to work with. No one can 100% second guess nature, nature is fickle, unreliable. How can a scientist tell if another iceberg just vanished, or another section of permafrost has been lost? How can they tell if a massive release of carbons suddenly erupts from previously frozen ground?
Every time another ice sheet melts, or more carbon is released, climate change accelerates. You can run as many simulations as you like, but it is still just guesswork based on the information you have at the time. Climate change is accelerating much faster than previously predicted, & we are running out of time to stabilise climate change at a temperature that can support life comfortably.  We are only two thirds of the way through spring here & already it is too hot outside. Imagine what summer is going to be like!!!

The Australian government is not going to stabilise climate change, it is corrupt, greedy, & selfish & it does not want to lose votes!!! Fossil fuel corporations are not going to stop mining, drilling & Fracking, climate change deniers are not going to change their environmentally damaging lifestyles, & the majority of Australians  are too apathetic, ignorant & gutless to take control of the situation. We have peaceful protesters that are not prepared to turn off the coal powered electricity to their homes, we have environmental organizations that lodge petitions, but do nothing else. They don’t protest on the streets, they just keep asking for more money to lodge more petitions!!!
If any serious demands for action are ever made, it will be after some major disaster has taken place, & by that time it will be too late. If you are serious about your children’s future happiness, if you are serious about saving a future for your grandchildren, then start prepping NOW! You will NOT be able to stabilise climate change, you will NOT be able to make any significant difference to climate change at all, but if you start prepping now, you may be able to save your family when climate change creates TEOTWAWKI.

The science of drought is complex but the message on climate change is clear

Southern Australia, and in particular the southwest, has seen a rapid decline in winter rainfall and runoff that has been linked to climate change. In the southeast there has also been a substantial decline in winter rainfall and total runoff in recent decades. Although the reductions are consistent with climate change projections, the trend so far is harder to distinguish from the year-to-year variability.
There is some evidence to suggest that widespread and prolonged droughts, like the Millennium Drought, are worse than other droughts in past centuries, and may have been exacerbated by climate change.
