Global Warming 2020 Australia.

It is early summer here in Australia; the temperature outside in the shade today was 35 degrees C. Fire season started here in New England in winter, & the bushfires have increasingly got worse. People are still talking about what we are going to do before 2050, but don’t you think that by 2050 the temperatures here will have reached such a height that we will not be able to go outside!!! The human body shuts down at 50 degrees C. !!! At these temperatures road surfaces will be melting, & this includes airport runways! Railway tracks will be buckling, transport will be at a standstill!!!

What do you think is going to happen to the electricity grid when everyone turns on their air conditioners? Is the government going to cater to this with more coal power generators?!!! The government says that Australia has met its carbon reduction target, but this is absolute bullshit, & on top of this Australia is exporting more coal than any other country in the whole world!!!

Bushfires are already in the extreme, & summer has only just started. Each year Australia will get hotter, my dam is the lowest it has ever been, leaves in the garden burn from the sun without shade cloth. The forest trees are dying fast, & the more trees that die, the faster global warming accelerates!!! Our tanks are not empty yet, but with no decent rain they soon may be. I am not likely to live until 2050, but my sons will, & my grandchildren will. Imagine what life is going to be like for them in 30 years time?!!!

We all know what needs to be done, we need to stop burning fossil fuels, & we need to stop destroying the native forests & woodlands, but this is not going to happen is it? The government certainly won’t stop selling coal or stop the burning of fossil fuels, will the people do it? No of course they won’t, they will sit on the fence until global warming really gets bad, so bad that those city lifestyles are affected, then they will start to winge & wine & some may even join the street protests, but will they do anything? Will they take control? No they won’t.

Eventually global warming will get really bad, and then the street protests will turn violent. People will get hurt & arrested. Things will get worse & this may start a revolution, but by this time it will be too late. Global warming will have past the point of no return, society will collapse, climate change will cause TEOTWAWKI, & after that possibly a mass extinction! WHY? Why is the Australian public sitting on the bloody fence waiting for this to happen? It makes no sense to me what so ever. If the government were to ban the drinking of beer I will wager the whole of Australia would be up in arms, but tell them that there is going to be a human extinction & they totally ignore it.

I don’t have any answers for the minority like myself who can see what is coming but are unable to stop it. All I can advise is that you start to prepare for what is coming. Get out of the city, go off grid. Grow your own food as best you can, be as self reliant & self sufficient as you can given the present society restrictions. Teach your children what to do. Start preparing now while we still have time.

Global Warming Climate Change & Preparing For the Worst?

With most of the apocalyptic scenarios we can come up with we all seem to agree that yes they could happen, & yes we should prepare for the worst. But when it comes to increased climate change caused by humans, for some unknown reason we are divided.

Some claim global warming climate change is total fake & say climate change is nothing new, but they ignore the fact that climate change has been increasing since at least the industrial revolution & the temperature rise is now at a dangerous level. Others argue that if global warming is real, how come the Northern Hemisphere is getting such severe winters? Well the facts are that global warming is producing extreme weather conditions worldwide, hot & cold & this was predicted. The other popular theory is that global warming is not really going to be an End of the World event & will go no further than TEOTWAWKI & just sort out the non prepared from the prepared. Why on earth these preppers think that global warming has a set limit I have no idea. Does any of the above sound like these preppers are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst?

It is difficult at best for scientists to predict how quickly global warming climate change will get to the stage where all life on earth will cease to exist. The sun melts the ice, so this ice can no longer reflect the sun. So the world gets hotter, the seas get warmer, one thing changes another thing so as these things change global warming speeds up. We have according to many scientists already left it too late to stabilize climate change at its present level, & our corrupt to the core government ruled by corporatism is NEVER going to do enough to stabilize climate change at any level. That leaves us with three options, 1) the majority of Australians can rise up & take control, sack the government & introduce a new non corrupt governing system. Close down all coal fires power stations; stop all coal mining & logging operations, reduce the amount of traffic on our roads to essential services only. This in my opinion will never happen for several reasons; a) people do not want to lose their jobs, b) people do not want to have to change their present lifestyle. The fact that if they continue as they are they will lose their jobs & their present lifestyle does not enter their heads. When climate change reaches TEOTWAWKI they will all be out of work & their present lifestyle will no longer exist!

2) Some other form of apocalyptic event could take place to save those who are prepared. If such an event were to force the closure of all coal fires power stations & stop mining & logging operations then we might be able to stabilize climate change at the level it is at that time. This is just a theory of course, & frankly barring mass terrorism or a comet strike or a major sudden change in weather conditions or a pandemic etc, etc , I don’t know what it would take to make this happen.

3) We prepare for the worst now. TEOTWAWKI is now in my opinion inevitable & by the time this happens & all those unbelievers out there wake up to the fact that global warming is real; it will be too late to stabilize climate change. We can prepare for TEOTWAWKI, we can NOT prepare for the extinction of all life on earth. We will probably not be alive when the end comes, but the younger members of our families will go through some very hard times, & if there are any great grandchildren they will probably not survive. As I said before this is mere conjecture on my part, a guess based on present theories. We cannot tell for sure when the end will come.

TEOTWAWKI Preparations.

We need to start growing our own food supplies, & our method of gardening will need to change from the ordinary. My guess is that in Australia our winters will get milder, & our summers will get hotter. This will mean that we will have more insect pests & other creatures moving from North to South. We will have problems watering the gardens so we will have to mulch heavily, use plenty of compost, & use drip feeds & shade cloth. Here in the New England area we have noticed the extra bite in the sun, & we have been avoiding working outside in the hottest part of the day. Early morning & late afternoon working only.

We do not have air conditioning, these will become redundant anyway. Fortunately we have large windows all around the main house & three external doors & all fly screened. We have solar power to run fans & fridge/freezer, so the days inside will be at least survivable if not comfortable.

Some areas may get more floods, & other areas such as here will get less rain. Our main dam is now at an all time low! Bush fires are already increasing, so for those of us living out bush this will be a major problem. We need to widen our firebreaks, & as soon as I am back on my feet this will be a priority.

Anyone have any thoughts on further preparations needed? Are there any other likely hazards that I have not covered here?  Given that this will eventually turn into TEOTWAWKI then of course there will be all the usual security problems when the grid goes down. This is bound to happen here because our cities are run on electricity; the extra load on the grid from air conditioning use will very likely crash the grid.

Global Genocide.

PLEASE Don't Ignore This Warning!!!

I realise that most of the people who follow me on this blog already know about the imminent threat from Global Warming, so I am preaching to the converted, but I am making this post on the off chance that others may check this out when they see it on popular media.

Right now nothing else really matters, not gun control, not water pollution, genocide in West Papua or anything else, because Global Warming is speeding up, & it will be an End Of The World event!!!
Not TEOTWAWKI, that implies a change in climate conditions that we can survive with a change of lifestyle, Global Warming will not be survivable!!! There is a strong probability that all life on earth will die, except maybe the cockroaches!

According to scientists around the world we have approximately 12 years in which to stabilise Climate Change, after that, we have past the tipping point & there will be no turning back!!!

No one can predict with any accuracy if it will in fact be 12 years or more, in fact it could be a lot less! Climate Change is moving faster all the time, as more ice melts, more C02 is released. China has closed some coal powered electricity generators, but it is constructing more & is still using coal! Australia is one of the major contributors to Global Warming, we have few people in Australia, but per person we are right up there with China!!!

If you think that this is all bullshit & that if Global Warming was real the government would be doing something about it, you are wrong!!!   The government & Corporatism are corrupt to the core, they are greedy & money & power hungry & they DO NOT give a damn about the common people's welfare! Yes they are going to die too, though they may have the money to extend their lives underground for longer than we can survive on the surface. But by the time the end comes, most of these money hungry mongrels will already be dead anyway, & they know this!!!

The only way in which Global Warming can be stabilised, & I mean stabilised, not stopped & not reversed, just slowed down & kept at present levels, is for a majority of people to take control of this situation!

For those people who still do not believe in Climate Change, look at it this way. If Climate Change is not happening, & we do all we can to stop it's progression, we will have at least made this world, this country, a better place to live in. We still have pollution & contamination to worry about, this is effecting the quality of our drinking water supply & the food we eat. It is effecting the very air we breath. So doing something about Global Warming is not a waste of time & money, we will be making this a better country to live in.
